Il Mondos is known on Huntington Ave. as a best New York style pizza shop. The building is small and cramped in a 30'x30' (approximately) shop. The size allows the smells to build up and overflow into the sidewalks on Huntington Ave. Another component to this affect is how the kitchen is situated in the building. The Kitchen is not sectioned off like in a restaurant, but rather it is displayed. This allows for the smells to overrun the atmosphere. Il Mondo is also known to be open during any weather, such as hurricanes, blizzards, and other in-climate weathers. On a very cold day the interior of the pizza shop heats up and builds up with an abundance of aroma. Once this happens, the staff at Il Mondo will open the door to replace the air inside, but it also lets the smell of pizza flood Huntington Ave.
